Employee Excursion
Rocky M01.1.:~tain River Expeditions is offering a 2-day
River raft trip for Thornton
employees and their families
on the Upper Colorado River Kr e rnm Lz.n q to St. Bridge.
Our
own Jo~l Sidell will be hosting
tnis trip scheduled for June
14 and 15.
At least 12 people
are needed in oraer to get the
discount rate of $85.00 per
person which will include food
and raft.
Those who are seriously interested must call
the Recreation Center at ext.
265 by May 10th.

to show slides and go over
details of the trip.

on '81-model instrument panels

Many of the symbols shown here will appear with the 1981
model year. That's the year FMVSS 101 becomes effective,
specifying that all cars, trucks and multipurpose vehicles
use symbols for the instrument-panel controls. The
following year, Canadian vehicles will start using the
symbols. The ones shown here are the I.s.o. (International
Standards Orginization) approved symbols, along with two
GI'lC symbols. To meet the 101 standard, vehf c Le s manufactured
in the United States, MUST USE SYJ'-IBOLS :N1J1(:BERED O:NE THROUGH
